Meet Nan, Our New Chapter Administrator

News Article:

These are exciting times for CREW Denver. Last year, we launched our new brand and as part of that effort we challenged our members and our organization to Step UP. Looking back at the last 12 months of great programs, sold-out property tours and powerful networking events, I would say that we are delivering on that goal.

I’m delighted to announce that our chapter is making another important move in pursuit of our mission to be Denver’s leading commercial real estate organization. We’ve hired our first-ever Chapter Administrator. Since it was founded more than 30 years ago, CREW Denver has been 100% volunteer driven.

That surprises many given the quality of our events, and it’s a testament to the fantastic members we have. But we’ve now grown to the point where the chapter can afford to hire a part-time staff person to take on much of the day-to-day work running the organization and free up time for our volunteers to be more strategic and spend more time on the fun parts of leading CREW Denver.

So I’d like to introduce you to Nanette Erkman. Nan owns a company called Successful Meeting Solutions that offers associations meeting and administrator support. She is a Certified Meeting Professional with more than 25 years of experience and has run events for everything from Fortune 100 companies to small associations.

For the past seven years she has served as a chapter administrator for a small financial trade association. In other words, her experience and skillset are a perfect match for what CREW Denver needs. In the coming months, you’ll see Nan at our events and committee meetings. I encourage you to introduce yourself to her and share any thoughts you have about how CREW Denver can be even better.
