Why join?

CREW Denver is proud to continue to offer the CREW Denver Mentor-Mentee Program as a free member benefit to all members. This six month program allows CREW members the opportunity to connect with, and be mentored by, senior industry professionals from all aspects of commercial real estate. Our committee has created a framework and tailored resources for participants.

Mentorship is recognized as a critical element to help women prepare for and attain upper-level career positions. According to a CREW Network study, women who were supported by a mentor increased their chances of securing a mid- or top-level management position by 56% vs. those without a mentor.

Who can join?

Professionals from all real estate disciplines may serve as Mentors, including appraisal, architecture, asset management, construction, development, engineering, commercial lending, design and space planners, law, property management, project management, real estate brokerage, title insurance, etc. Men and women alike are welcome to apply as Mentors or Mentees and Mentors need not be a member of CREW. 

Mentor Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry. Professionals from all real estate disciplines may serve as Mentors, including appraisal, architecture, asset management, construction, development, engineering, commercial lending, design and space planners, law, property management, project management, real estate brokerage, title insurance, etc. Men and women alike are welcome to apply as Mentors or Mentees and Mentors need not be a member of CREW.

Mentee Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year in commercial real estate and must be a member of CREW.

2023 Program Timeline

Registration Opens - December 5, 2022
Application Deadline - January 6, 2023 **Deadline Extended to Jan. 11**
Virtual Speed Matching Event - Mid January (in person)
Pair Annoucements - End of January (via email)
Kickoff Event & Program Orientation - Early February (virtual)
Monthly Meetings - February through June
Graduation Ceremony - June 2023

Application Process
Applications for the 2023 program will be due January 6th. The program will be limited to 20 mentor/mentee pairs.

This year the CREW Denver Mentorship Program is excited to announce our “mid-career” level mentee experience. These mentees are required to have more than 7 years of commercial real estate work experience and will be paired with mentors with 20+ years of experience. There will be a cap of 5 mid-career level mentees. Note: You are allowed to be a mentor as well as a “mid-career mentee”.
