What is your favorite part of CREW? If you are a new member, why did you join CREW? I joined CREW to develop new contacts in the commercial real estate industry and find mentors and helpful resources that come from a women’s perspective. Being so new to real estate I believe networking is important for me to gain a better understanding of the industry.

Are you a Colorado native? If a not, where are you from and how did you end up in Colorado? I am not a native but do call it home. I am originally from Houston, TX – my husband wanted to switch careers from municipal civil engineering work to mining for more international opportunities for us and found a job in Denver. We are both very interested in living abroad someday, he is from Peru.
What is your favorite spot in Denver (or surrounding areas)? There are so many great spots – but we used to live in City Park and loved it for the walkability to nature, outdoor concerts, museums, restaurants, music venues, independent film theater, and the grocery store.
What food, dessert or treat can you NOT resist? Popcorn and chocolate covered almonds
What is your dream vacation? Barcelona – the art, the food, the weather, the culture – and I know enough Spanish to get around.
Biggest accomplishment of your career? Making the decision to leave a great job to take a risk at starting my own business for the benefit of being able to have flexible hours and be available for my family.
What is your favorite motivational quote to inspire you at work? “I never lose. I either win or learn.” Nelson Mandela
