What’s the difference between CREW Network and CREW Denver membership?

CREW Denver is an affiliate organization of CREW Network, a global Network is comprised of 70+ affiliate organizations with a total membership of more than 10,000 CRE professionals. All members of CREW Denver are automatically enrolled as members of CREW Network and gain access to membership benefits offered by both organizations.

What makes CREW Denver unique?

We are the only local or national association solely dedicated to advancing women in commercial real estate, and we have been doing so in the Mile High city for more than 30 years. We seek opportunities for women to succeed in business, develop effective leaders, inform the industry and recruit promising young women into CRE.

Who are your members?

CREW Denver's membership comprises some of the most influential, enterprising and energetic professionals in Denver CRE. Women willing to step up, take risks and take the lead.

Our members represent nearly every discipline within commercial real estate including law, brokerage, finance, property management, development, finance, engineering, title/escrow, asset management and more.

We offer several categories of membership for individuals with experience levels across the board, from students to seasoned professionals, although the majority of CREW Denver members have at least five (5) years of experience in the CRE industry and are currently employed in a full-time managerial, senior level, professional, principal, or revenue. How much does membership cost?

CREW Denver’s basic membership rate is $400, with lower rates for students and civic members. Affiliate/vendor members are also required to be sponsors, with entry-level sponsorship starting at $1,200. Full details »

How do I apply?

Individuals should submit an online application, which requests contact information, experience details, a resume and the names of two current members who will sponsor their application. A $25 non-refundable application fee is also required. The CREW Denver membership committee and board of directors review all applications and then notify applicants after the next board meeting. How often do you meet? What’s the time commitment for membership?

CREW Denver holds a wide variety to meet the diverse needs of our members. They include quarterly luncheons; small-scale, power networking evenings; informal lunch-and-learns; hard-hat property tours; a golf tournament; and our annual Women of Influence awards gala. How much time you want to dedicate to these opportunities is entirely up to you.

We encourage members to get involved on a committee to help maximize their membership experience. Committee participation can vary, but each committee normally has an hour-long meeting or conference call once a month.

How/when do I pay my dues?

Upon application approval, CREW Network will send an invoice for your annual dues, which you can pay online with a credit card or mail with a check. Once dues are received, you will become an official CREW member. Membership terms are on a calendar-year basis, so dues are invoiced each fall for the coming term.

If you join between July and November, dues are reduced by 25%. If you join in November, the full dues payment will be billed, but your payment will be applied to the following calendar year, effectively giving you 14 months of dues for the price of 12.
